A cone in Porthcawl,
Before a throne in Lisvane.
We house sat. I'd crawled
Through brambles in Ely
Woods before getting to
This place; wept tears
In church the day before.
A phone with the
Number 77 as part
Of its number. Cheeky
Text messages not really
The order of the day.
We had beautiful baked
Potatoes, and simple
Tomato soup. I strolled
Around the manor

With cigar and a glass
Of Sainsbury's finest plonk.
We watched the snooker
(Part of). We didn't bonk.
