Other Poets
If you've reached this stage having gone through all the other pages in order, aside from the fact that you're probably a few lines short of a sonnet (or a few lines short of a gram, depending on your preference), you may be starting to question the existence of other poets. "Just who are these 'other' poets?" you might ask yourself. "Can it really be that there are 'other' poets? What is the nature of such beings?" I can set the record straight now. Though the record might have warped a little in the heat and jumps occasionally, it should still tell you that there are many other fine poets…um, it's just that this website doesn't contain all that much work by other poets! And here's where you come in - perhaps you yourself are one of this mythical 'other' poets, or maybe you've heard about one. In this case, you, or this other person, should definitely be contacting me. I will print, in this section, and with your permission, any poems sent in deemed of a worthy quality (let's face it, look at the rest of the site - if you don't think you could do better than a fair amount of this stuff, there's no hope at all for the future of poetry as we know it). Furthermore, you could well be considered for a future edition of poems to be published by pure-poetry.co.uk. There is also a strong possibility that pure-poetry will be releasing a book of other poets too, so you could be included in this, particularly if I decide to hold another competition, which I very well might do. Anyway, as I say, all other poets are welcome to contact, either by email to mail (at ) pure-poetry.co.uk, or by post to Flat 2, 53 Richmond Road, Cardiff, CF24 3AQ. As you can see, at present, I have simply put poems by other poets up, but if you submit more details about yourself and your poems, I will add this to the site as well.
